Autism Services

Our team has extensive experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and their families. We understand the needs of families and children with ASD are diverse and vary with every stage of development. We also recognize the challenge in finding a knowledgeable clinician to follow and manage the clinical care of your child. We are pleased to offer services for your child with autism including:

• Ongoing assessment to understand your child’s strengths and challenges at various stages of development

• Psychoeducational assessments (related to concerns with learning, academics, attention, memory, etc.)

• Supervision of your child’s behaviour program (including programs funded by the Ontario Autism Program)

• Direct behaviour management and consultation for challenging behaviours

• Consultation to other clinicians working with your child regarding their developmental needs

• Development and consultation in your child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP)

• Consult to your child’s school or support in the classroom setting (including attending school meetings)

• Observation and consultation in your child’s classroom to provide teaching staff with recommendations and strategies to best support your child in the classroom

• Completion of funding applications including Disability Tax Credit forms
